SHERIDAN MALL North York, Ontario

Part of the renovation of this existing two-storey shopping mall was the design of a new food court. The design of the space integrates circular elements, in form and pattern imitating the existing circulation patterns. The area is accentuated with lively floor patterns, colours, and natural materials that define a separate dining area at the core of the centre of the shopping centre. The contrasting bright, eclectic perimeter and the individual expression of each retail kiosk are woven into an overall design scheme that creates an interesting, vibrant environment offering a variety of seating arrangements and spatial experiences to its users.
